New Zealand managed to draw Slovakia 1:1 in the two teams’ first game of the 2010 World Cup.

Robert Vittek of Slovakia gave his team the lead in the 50th minute with a header. New Zealand’s Winston Reid scored also a header in the last minute to steal a point.

In the first Group F match on Monday, Italy and Paraguay ended their face-off with exactly the same score giving all teams in the group the same number of points and goal difference.
