The Regional Court in the Bulgarina Danube city of Vidin ruled Sunday to leave behind bars 3 of the 4 individuals, who were arrested Thursday in a special police operation codenamed 'The Money Lenders.'

Romeo Archarski, Sotir Safirov and Aliosha Vasilev will be kept in jail pending the trail.

During the searches and the raids the police confiscated two laptops with electronic data for giving out illegal loans, blue prints of agricultural land plots, notary acts for real estate in Vidin’s 'Nov Put' (New Way) neighborhood, warranty cards for a number of electronics and appliances that have been pawned in shops owned by the criminals, and a kilogram of gold.

The organized crime group, allegedly, dealt with schemes to illegally acquire farm lands with fake documents and then apply for EU financing.
