A 2,3 magnitude earthquake was registered Friday morning in South Western Bulgaria.

The European Seismological Centre reported that the quake shook the area at 09:44 am.

The epicenter of the quake was located 98km South west of the town of Plovdiv and 16 kilometers north-west of the town of Gotse Delchev.

There were no reports of injuries or material damage.
