Talks with potential investors in a number of infrastructure projects will top the agenda of the visit of a Bulgarian delegation, headed by the prime minister, to Qatar and Kuwait, starting on Monday.

The delegation includes Foreign Minister Nikolay Mladenov, Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Traicho Traikov, Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Rosen Plevneliev and Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Alexander Tsvetkov.

Last week the transport minister announced that Bulgaria's sea ports and airports will be offered on concession to Qatar and Kuwait. Priority will be assigned to the Danube bridge, linking Silistra and Kalarash, the airports at the towns of Plovdiv and Russe and the sea ports at Varna and Burgas.

Economy Minister Traicho Traikov will hold negotiations for cooperation in infrastructure projects and supplies of liquified gas from Qatar. Options for supples of compressed gas by sea from Qatar to Bulgaria and Southeast European region will also be considered, the ministry said.

In Qatar Prime Minister Boyko Borisov is scheduled to meet Qatari Prime Minister Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber bin Muhammad Al Thani and deputy emir and Crown Prince of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The Bulgarian ministers are to hold meeting with their Qatari counterparts.

In Kuwait Borisov is scheduled to confer with the Kuwaiti Prime Minister, Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, to discuss ways of bolstering relations in all possible areas and activities.
