Bulgarians Mostly Apathetic towards Impeachment Affair - Poll

Most Bulgarians do no react strongly to the motion of the ruling majority to impeach President Georgi Parvanov, according to a recent poll.
A survey of the MBMD agency has shown that almost 30% are strongly opposed to the motion, while 15,2% are strongly in favor.
Another 21,4% would rather be against the impeachment of Parvanov, while another 19% would rather support it.
A total of 50,4% of the respondents think that the Borisov government works better than the three-way coalition government of Sergey Stanishev, whereas 14,7% think it is doing worse; 25% find no difference.
At the same time 43,9% are hopeful that the government’s actions will improve the situation in the country; about the same number of people – 43,3% - think the opposite.
Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borisov remains the most popular politician. He enjoys public support of 57,9%, according to the MBMD poll. Interior Minister Tsvetanov is second with 55,6%, followed by President Georgi Parvanov with 40%. Only 26,5% trust the Finance Minister, Simeon Djankov.
