Bulgarian Virtuosos Perform Music of Oscar Winning Movie

The music of the Argentinean movie El Secreto de Sus Ojos (The Secret of Their Eyes), winner of the Oscar for Foreign Film, is performed by Bulgarian musicians.

The music was recorded via internet last year and is performed by the Bulgarian symphonic orchestra SIF 309.

The movie tells the story of a retired prosecutor, who is trying to solve a 25-year-old crime.

The company SIF 309 Film Music is founded by prominent Bulgarian pianist Victor Chuchkov and is managed by his wife Elena Chuchkova, also a piano player.

Chuchkova has secured many recordings for some internationally recognized musical and film productions. They include orders from musicians such as Ennio Morricone (Una Storia Italiana, La piovra, Nostromo) , Giuseppe "Pino" Donaggio (Palermo Milano), Bruno Coulais (Himalaya, Les Horistes, Oceans), Patrick Doyle (Est-Ouest, Igor), Fernando Velasquez (El Orfanato), Taylor Bates (300) and others. SIF 309 have also performed the music for the 2009 blockbuster Fantastic Ocean 3D.
