Three different moderate earthquakes hit northern Philippines, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey early Tuesday.

The strongest, measuring 6,0 on the Richter scale, struck near Luzon in the Philippines. The authorities made no immediate reports of damage.

Earlier, a magnitude 5,0 quake struck Kyrgyzstan near the capital Bishkek, the US Geological Survey said, but again there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.

The epicenter of the quake, was shallow at a depth of 17,38 km, and was 77,25km southeast of Bishkek.

Turkish authorities also reported a separate quake of 4,7 on the Richter scale early Tuesday morning.

The quakes follow the devastating 8,8 quake that rocked Chile on Saturday killing over 700 people and causing a tsunami.
