Bulgaria’s Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, and the Director of the World Bank for Central Europe and the Baltic countries, Peter Harold, held talks regarding road reconstruction and modernization.

The information was reported Saturday by the Cabinet’s press center.

Borisov, Harold, and the permanent representative for the WB in Bulgaria, Florian Fichtl, discussed assistance in the areas of analysis, consultancy and investments to help modernize road infrastructure in Bulgaria – one of the top, strategic priorities of the government.

Peter Harold’s Department includes 10 EU Member States and Croatia. He was appointed to the post on January 25 and this is his first visit to the Region.
