The accident occurred at 05:00 when the ‘Titan Chistota Sofia’ snowplow hit the train on ‘Letostruy’ Street in Sofia. Initial information suggests that the snow plow driver had tried to cross the track when the barriers were down.

The two train drivers have been taken to local hospitals but the seriousness of their condition is not yet known.
