The leader of Bulgaria’s largest nationalist party “Ataka”, Volen Siderov, and his party press office have denied the news that he was detained at the airport in Frankfurt, Germany, over “indecent behavior.”

This was reported Wednesday night by the Bulgarian National Radio, which, however, provided no details about Siderov’s misbehavior.

The reports said Siderov, who is a MP and a close though informal ally of Bulgarian PM Boyko Borisov, was released shortly after his detention after he showed to the airport security personnel his diplomatic passport.

This announcement has been misproved by the Ataka party. Its leader Volen Siderov even discussed the matter with Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov, and declared that he and his party would sue anyone spreading untrue claims about him.
