Sofia City Court has postponed for two weeks its decision on whether to release Daniel Dimitrov aka Releto (the Relay) from custody, one of the accused "Impudent" kidnapping gang.

Dimitrov made his bail request citing health reasons, but magistrates have decided that medical experts should determine his condition.

The court had recently upheld the release request made by Anton Petrov aka the Hamster, and commonly assumed to be the gang's ring-leader.

The decision was commented upon unfavorably by the Bulgarian Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov, who said he had been “worried by the manner and approach that was taken".

The Appeal Court announced on Sunday their reasons for the release of The Hamster and, according to unofficial information, they were provided to the Prime Minister Boyko Borisov at their meeting with the Supreme Judicial Council that day. So far, Prime Minister Borisov has refused to comment on them.
