The Bulgarian 'St. Ivan Rilski' Order of the Knights Templar of Jerusalem have announced a BGN 50 000 reward for information about the armed robbery in December of a public safety vault in Sofia

It has been reported that BGN 10 M was stolen in the robbery of a public safety vault on Dondukov boulevard on December 10. Police are searching for ten men said to be involved.

The men were heavily armed and easily coped with the security guards, who were hit on the head and tied up. Several other perpetrators joined in and smashed the unsecured metal safety boxes.

This was the latest in a series of armed robberies in downtown Sofia with damages estimated at millions of levs.
