An earthquake measuring 2,9 on the Richter scale was reported on the territory of Bulgaria at 8:14 am on Thursday.

The European Mediterranean Seismological Centre said the epicenter of the tremor has been registered 19 kilometers north-east of the town of Kardzhali, Southern Bulgaria.

There have been no reports of casualties or material damage.
