The Austrian company EVN has built a solar power park near Bulgaria's southern city of Sliven, the company reports.

EVN provides electric power to the Plovdiv Region and southeastern Bulgaria.

The investment is EUR 3 M. The park with a 863 kWp capacity is located near the village of Blatets, in the Sliven municipality.

In mid-December, EVN put in testing operation the first part of the park with a 178,2 kWp capacity, and is set to test two more groups of photovoltaic elements.

The testing will continue until the end of February when the park will be set into full operational mode.
