Freedom for Muslims ? I have yet to here of any illegally imprisoned muslims in Bulgaria.

Stay away from our mosques ? Oh so we cannot come to your mosques because we are infidels, but you are welcome in our churches at any time. Seems to me that "PEACE" is lacking in your mosques.

I suspect there's a bit of an English problem here. The writer should have said, "come in peace", or "come peaceably".

As I read the text, the writer's meaning was don't come with violence on your mind.

On the other hand, your interpretation could well be the better one.

Christians and Jews are not infidels for Muslims, and as a Christian you can for sure enter a Djamija/Mosque. There are only a few where the access is limited to Muslims.

Islam is not a "religion of peace." If we are unsuccessful in correcting our confused view of Islam, we will lose our civilization.

Islam is much more than a religion; it is a complete civilization that includes politics (caliphate), jurisprudence (Sharia law), war (jihad), and a deliberately misleading "religion of peace".

The purpose of the Islamic doctrine is the destruction of all cultures not Islamic and the expansion of Islam and Shariah law throughout the world.

Islamist mass murderers and terrorists/jihadists are not "hijackers" or "misunderstanders" of Islam; they are the devout followers of a political ideology that is hostile to our existence because we are not Muslims.

It is difficult for many to accept that such an ideology can be real and that people kill and die for it; we see the truth of Islam in word and deed but pretend that it is not so. According to Sharia law (Islamic law) Islam abrogates, that is "cancels," all other religions.

The majority of the doctrine of Islam is about how Muslims are to interact with non-Muslims; it is essentially about the rest of us. Statistical analysis of the doctrine of Islam by Dr. Bill Warner of the Center for the Study of Political Islam is enlightening:

* 62% of Koran is devoted to how Islam interacts with the kafir (the unbeliever).
* 98% of the Sira is devoted to the struggle against kafirs. (70% is jihad; 28% is argument and insults.)
* 20% of Bukhari Hadith is devoted to jihad.

As I understand it, both Jesus and Abraham are honored in Islam. They're recognized as prophets, but the hang-up is they don't accept the idea that Jesus was the Son of God. The Jews don't either.

I'm not exactly sure what the significance of the Kaaba in the courtyard of the big mosque in Mecca is, but it's closely associated with Abraham. I don't know whether he was supposed to have lived in it, or whether it's more of a museum of artifcacts of him, but whatever, it's the holiest place in Islam, and during the Hajj, thousands of people walk in a prescribed number of circles around it.

Sounds great. But how come Bulgarians were called and treated as infidels/gyurs for 500 years?

I have never heard a Moslem say that, even though I have been in close contact with many at my work as well as socially. Claiming that to me sounds just as outlandish as saying that Christians “turn the other cheek”.

OK, then. Islam does not believe that Jesus was the son of God. Fine. That's not possible to prove one way or the other. But Islam also does not believe that Jesus was crucified. This has been historically validated by many different sources. When your religion is preventing you from believing history or science, it is time to throw your religion out and start fresh.

Christian Jesus was crucified. Muslim Jesus was not. Clearly not the same entity. Whoever Muslims "honor" it is not the Christian Jesus we know and love.

As for Abraham--don't know, don't care. However, just by observing the relations between Jews and Muslims, I wouldn't say that the Muslims are "honoring" anything Jewish. At least not in any way the Jews perceive as honor.

Robert Spencer, author of "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam" points out that there are over 100 verses in the Qur'an that exhort Muslims to fight unbelievers; this includes 'chopping their heads off' (Qur'an 47:4). The verse says that Allah forgives only those who have the right beliefs, and non-believers' actions will 'come to nothing'. The reason that such black-and-white morality is permissible is the same reasons that Christians gave during the Dark Ages of Faith: any enemies of Christians were actually Satanic.

The Qur'an contains detailed instructions and examples of how to meet unbelievers. The first instruction is that they should be called to Islam; in fact, the Qur'an says you cannot wage war against unbelievers until you have preached to them. The second instruction is that if they do not convert to Islam, then, they must be fought. The third instruction is that if they surrender, or convert, then you must stop waging war. The final instruction is that if they do not convert or surrender, then they must be killed. This is the optimum route for Islamist expansion: A tidal wave of war, subjugation and conversion.

There is another provision in the Qur'an though, because sometimes Muslims aren't in a position to wage war. In this occasion, the examples and teachings of the Qur'an are that Muslims may make deals with their enemies, with unbelievers, engage in truces and the like in order to recuperate and gain strength. The overriding concern is the fight against unbelievers; if this can't be achieved then it is ok to strategically lay low. To achieve more sneaky victories, it is acceptable to deceive, double-cross and break deals. Deals with unbelievers are not real deals, anyway, and are to be broken as soon as more aggressive moves can be made.
