I am saying this over the intentions of the current Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, to rule Bulgaria in the next 30 years because if I don't lead the socialists, he will have nothing to talk about. My goal is not to be the eternal President of the BSP National Council, but to contribute as much as I can to the strengthening of the party in those difficult times, in this hostile environment of an authoritative rule so that we can become the main alternative to Borisov's Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB). It is a total mystification to think that my advisors, and the advisors of any PM, especially the one of a coalition cabinet, can manage the country as Borisov claims mine did. The leader of BSP and former PM, Sergey Stanishev, in a Tuesday interview, addressing the announcement of President, Georgi Parvanov that he is not considering becoming the socialist leader upon the expiration of his term as well as accusations coming from current PM Borisov that Stanishev has surrounded himself with advisors, who were Board members of large companies and the people really ruling the country while he headed the cabinet.
