Bulgaria Socialist Ex-PM Criticizes New Cabinet at Russia Forum

The leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), Sergey Stanishev, launched a critical attack on the country’s cabinet Saturday.
Stanishev, who is also Bulgaria’s previous Prime Minister, said at in international forum dedicated to the social responsibility of political parties that the government of the Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) party is making serious retreat from the sound fiscal policy of his own cabinet in dealing with the economic crisis.
In Sankt Petersburg, Stanishev declared the current rulers of Bulgaria are transferring the burden from the crisis to the most disadvantaged people with lower income and that the cabinet policies would lead to thousand and thousand of unemployed workers.
