A 36-year-old man has become Bulgaria's 14th victim of the A(H1N1) virus after developing a double pneumonia.

The man died in the hospital in the northern Bulgarian town of Gorna Oryahovitsa, thus becoming the first swine flu victim in the Veliko Tarnovo District.

He sought a doctor and was admitted to hospital only after home treating himself for five days.
