The National Council of the Bulgarian Socialist Party has held a new vote to elect its 20-member Executive Board after irregularities were found in the first vote 2 weeks ago.

From the previously elected BSP Board Kiril Dobrev, Dimcho Mihalevski and Atanas Kostadinov all lost there place in the vote held late Monday, BSP spokesperson Korneliya Ninova told reporters.

The all-party Control Commission ordered the new vote after finding errors in the vote hels two weeks ago.

The re-elected BSP secretaries are Korneliya Ninova, Katiya Nikolova, Evgeniy Uzunov and Denitsa Zlateva. The Secretary for media policy is selected Anton Kutev.

The new faces on the Board are Georgi Pirinski, Borislav Gutsanov and Nikolay Malinov, all of whom did not receive sufficient support two weeks ago. The Sofia Mayor candidate Georgi Kadiev was elected as a new member of the party leadership along with former members; Yanaki Stoilov, Vanya Dobreva, Dora Yankova, Mihail Mikov, Iliya Batashki, Yavor Gechev, Vladimir Topencharov, Boyko Velikov, Angel Naidenov, Kristian Vigenin and Dimitar Gorov.
