Bulgaria's Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism, Traicho Traikov, has removed the board of Directors of the Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH), a Ministry press release announced.

Boris Pekov - Chairman of Board of Directors, Tencho Popov - Deputy Chairman of Board of Directors and members of the board Galina Tosheva, Dimitar Gogov and Dimitar Dimitrov were all removed.
The new Board of 3 Directors is headed by Maya Hristova - Deputy Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism. The two other Board members are Galina Tosheva, who was re-elected as Executive Director and Dobrin Stefkin -civil servant in the State Commission on Information Security.
Traikov concluded that the changes were intended to improve operational performance in the management of the Holding.
The move comes after the Bulgarian government quit their earlier plan to shut down the mega structure and instead decided to restructure it.
