Bulgaria Star Berbatov Injured for Shakhtar Donetsk Challenge

Dimitar Berbatov will be fit to play against Malta in Sofia next Wednesday but will sit out Bulgaria’s Friday game against Shakhtar Donetsk, as he is recovering from an injury.
Berbatov is currently undergoing a special recovery program in Manchester and will join up with the team at their Boyana training camp before the end of the week, he will however not travel to Turkey on Friday.
Meanwhile it also became clear that the defenders Stanislav Manolev and Plamen Nikolov will also miss the Shaktar Donetsk game.

Bulgaria are set to play Ukrainian club side and UEFA Cup champions Shakhtar Donetsk on Friday at 19:00 in the Ataturk Stadium in the Turkish resort city of Antalya the Bulgarian Football Union announced early Wednesday.
The newly announced fixture comes after Bolivia pulled out of traveling to Sofia for Saturday’s planned friendly, with the South Americans citing "economic reasons" as the reason.
