Dozens of Trabant cars – the symbol of the former East Germany – paraded in Sofia Saturday marking the 20th year since the fall of the Berlin Wall.

The Trabant parade was one of the events organized by the Germnay Embassy in Sofia in order to celebrate the 20th anniversary since November 9, 1989.

The parade - co-organized by the Bulgarian Trabant Club – went from the Berlin Wall Monument near the National Palace of Culture (which is a fragment of the actual Wall) to the Embassy of Germany.

As part of its program for celebrating the anniversary, the German Embassy in Sofia held its first open doors day.
