Jason Rodriguez, a 40-year-old man, has been detained after a shooting spree in which he killed one person and wounded five in Orlando, Florida, on Friday.

The gunman is reported to have been fired from an engineering firm in Orlando 2 years ago. On Friday, he returned to the same office shooting six people, The Washington Post reported.

Rodriguez worked for Reynolds Smith & Hills, an architectural engineering firm, located at the eight floor of the Legion's Place building, where the shooting took place.

"They left me to rot,'' he told TV reporters after he was arrested, The Orlando Sentinel reported.

The incident in Orlando, Florida, has happened just a day after the shootout at the Fort Hood Military Base in Texas, where a military psychiatrist shot 12 people before he was gunned down.

He was probably a lousy engineer, that's why he got fired. I am not saying you have to be a genius to be an engineer, but there is some minimum intelligence required. This Latino douche bag was clearly unsuited to be an engineer. I don't know why the US is so stupid allowing all the scum of the earth to enter the country and go on shooting sprees. First the Muslim imbecile now this Hispanic vermin.

He worked in an architecture design company, just like the cockroach in this forum before she was fired. Seems a common habit of that kind of people to run amok afterwards, some in real life, some only on the net.

"but there is some minimum intelligence required."

Exactly, that's why both of them were fired.

What is the most important conclusion from the Sofia Mayor elections on November 15, 2009?
That the ruling party GERB of PM Borisov continues to be hugely popular, whereas the Socialists are pretty much out.

That the decline of the Socialist Party has stopped whereas the ruling party GERB has failed to attract the expected very high number of voters.

That the Sofia residents are either completely disillusioned with politics, or care little about who is Mayor.

That the record-high jackpot of the Bulgarian State Lottery "Toto" generated much greater interest than the Mayor elections.
