A report of a man being bundled into black jeep in the center of Sofia was received by the police at 08:00 Wednesday.

The incident occurred at the ‘Luvov Most’ tram stop and a number of witnesses confirms that the young man had been forced into the car against his will.

Bulgaria Interior Minister, Tsvetan Tsvetanov, later confirmed that the incident had taken place and that the police were investigating all possibilities.

He concluded by warning against a ‘kidnapping psychosis’ and stated that the jeep in question had not been reported stolen.
