Blast Rocks Bulgaria's Yambol, No Casualties

An explosion ripped through an office in the Bulgarian city of Yambol at about 3 a.m. Tuesday, private TV channel bTV reported.
The premises are situated next to Block 15 in the city’s Georgi Benkovski quarter. The company is involved in insurance and oil trading.
The spokesperson of the Regional Directorate of Interior Ministry, Katya Nyagolova, confirmed that the alert was not received by them until two hours after the blast, as no-one had heard it in the small hours.
No-one was injured in the blast, but there is significant damage to the building, with all the windows blown out, and furniture destroyed.
Specialists from the Burgas-based Directorate for Operative Technical Information (DOTI) continue to investigate the type and quantity of the explosives used in the incident.
