Azerbaijan Set to Start Direct Flights to Bulgaria

Azerbaijan Airlines ‘AZAL’ are set to start direct flights between Azerbaijan and Sofia in the near future.
After discussions between Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev and Bulgarian Foreign Affairs Minister Rumiana Jeleva the new flight route was announced.
President Aliyev, who was described as pragmatic person by minister Jeleva, once again expressed his willingness to ensure the gas supplies for the "Nabucco" pipeline project.
Azerbaijan handed over to Bulgaria the chairmanship of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) during an official ceremony Thursday.
