An explosion injured 26 people on the central square of the Moldovan capital Chisinau during a concert to celebrate the City Day late on Wednesday.
The explosive was a ball grenade RG-42, according to the Russian news agency ITAR-TASS. Most of the people have minor wounds, which is the result of the fact that the grenade did not explode in full force, according to experts.
It is still unclear what caused the explosion. Moldovan Interior Minister Victor Catan did not rule out the possibility of a terrorist attack.
