At least three people, including two Pakistanis and one foreigner, have been killed in a bomb attack against a UN World Food Program office in Islamabad Monday.

The explosion resulted from a timed bomb planted in the basement of the building, according to police official Tahir Alam, as cited by the BBC.

Another six people, most of whom are foreigners, are reported to have been wounded. International correspondents have linked the bomb attack to a series of recent bomb attacks in Pakistan associated with the Taliban movement.
