The first two Irish electoral districts to announce their official referendum results have shown a sweeping vote in favor of the ratification of the Lisbon EU Treaty.
In the Tipperary County in Southern Ireland 68,42% of the voters said “yes” to the Lisbon Treaty.
In the Kildare Country in the east, 76,19% of the voters supported the Lisbon Treaty.
The official results from all 43 electoral districts of Ireland are expected later on Saturday.
