The man alleged to be Michael Jackson's "secret love child" has been chosen to play him in a biographic movie of his early years.
Omer Bhatti, who bears a striking resemblance to the King of Pop, has worked as a Michael Jackson impersonator in the past, Daily Telegraph reported.
It is claimed that Jackson told friends that Bhatti, 25, was his son from a brief affair with an employee named Pia.
The dancer, whose family now live in Norway, was pictured sat in the front row of Jackson's memorial service beside his sister Rebbie.
According to The Sun, Bhatti will star in a film about Jackson's rise to fame during the 1980s.
"Michael's story from childhood to the height of success is nothing short of astounding. It needs to be told and that's what his family want. The family feel fans would love to see a dramatic retelling. They want to cover his childhood and family life but focus on when his career went into overdrive. The family is close to Omer, as Michael was. He is a fantastic performer and they would like him to play the adult Michael", a source told the newspaper The Sun.
Bhatti has reportedly been staying with the Jackson's since the King of Pop's death in June. It is believed he is seeking a DNA test.
The film will concentrate on the success of Off The Wall, Thriller and Bad, but will not cover the child abuse allegations.
Shooting is expected to start in 2010.
