The value of the found heroin on the Bulgarian market would be about BGN 5 M, according to police sources.

At a separate occasion at the Kapitan Adreevo Border Crossing Point, again on the Bulgaria-Turkey border, customs officers found about 24,5 kg of heroin hidden in a passenger bus traveling from Turkey's Istanbul to the southern Bulgarian cities of Haskovo and Kardzhali.
