Bulgaria's Municipality of Ruse and Romania's Municipality of Giurgiu, are considering the construction of a joint technological park.

The news was announced by the Ruse Munucipality Friday night, after a meeting between Deputy Mayors of the city of Ruse, and the leadership of the Ruse Engineering University "Angel Kanchev".

The Bulgarian and Romanian local authorities plan to finance their joint project with funds from the PHARE Trans-border Cooperation Program.

If the two municipalities decide to go ahead, they would have to submit their PHARE application by the end of August 2009.
