Thieves stole a EUR 36 000 Swiss watch from a Bulgarian businessman while he was on a vacation at the Bulgarian resort Sunny Beach.

The watch is Royal Offshore of the Swiss company Audemars Piguet, and is made of 18-carat gold, BGNES reported.

The thieves, though, did not know what they stole, and gave it in pawn for EUR 50.

It took the police three says to find and detain the perpetrators. They are two men at 26 and 27 years of age from the city of Burgas.

Meanwhile, the police officials in Burgas alert that there are professional thieves in Sunny Beach who very carefully follow and examine rich Bulgarian and foreign businessmen.
