The new government of the Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, will revoke the last government's decree to cut ministers' salaries by 15%.
This has been announced Wednesday by the Interior Minister and Deputy PM, Tsvetan Tsvetanov, just before the beginning of the cabinet meeting.
Expenditures cuts in the ministries budget will be achieved by appointing less deputy ministers - generally two for each ministry, and a maximum of three for the bigger ones.
Foreign Minister, Rumiana Jeleva, said before the meeting that she would propose spendings in the embassies to be optimized, too. She added, that one of her deputies will be Martin Raikov. In her words, all the diplomatic assignments of the last government will be carefully revised.
