Macedonian former Health Minister, Vladimir Dimov, who also has a Bulgarian passport, has been arrested at the international airport in Warsaw, Poland.
This was announced Tuesday by the Macedonian officials in Skopje, the Bulgarian news agency, BGNES, reported.
There is an international order for the arrests of the 53-year-old man, at the request of the Macedonian police.
He is accused of illegal official appointments, which have caused losses to the budget, and also of committing tax frauds, officials said.
Vladimir Dimov was a minister in the Social-Democratic government of the PM, Vladko Kuchkovski, and in the last few years lived and worked in Turkey.
The Bulgarian passport might be an obstacle for the extradition of Dimov back to Macedonia.
