Two shootouts broke in Bulgaria's city of Kazanlak Friday afternoon.

The news was reported by the Bulgarian information agency BGNES.

One shooting happened around 1:45 pm in downtown Kazanlak during a police action when authorities tried to apprehend a suspect.

According to some unconfirmed information, the alleged criminal is known as Zlati. He resisted arrest and opened fire. There is a Hummer vehicle parked at the location of the incident.

In addition, five shots were heart about one hour earlier near the Mathematics High School in Kazanlak. The police have arrived immediately and the area is sealed off.

A "Citroen" automobile with Sofia tags is parked at that location. Witnesses say they saw a 30 to 35-year-old man with handcuffs and several other men around him.

There are no reported injuries or casualties in both shootings.
