Air France Plans to Cut 7,500 Jobs
Air France confirmed plans to cut some 7,500 jobs including 1,000 at sister airline Hop! on Friday, as staff protested over its response to the collapse in travel due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The mother of a 33-year-old Slovakian national, who died as passenger on the French Airbus 330, had received a postcard from her deceased son.
The information was reported by the Russian ITAR-TASS agency.
"I am sending you greetings from Rio de Janeiro. The Ocean is very beautiful and everything here is just super," the son wrote just days before boarding the ill-fated flight.
The mother, who has been desolate after the crash, fell in shock over the card and is reported to be seriously distraught with her relatives keeping watch round-the-clock.
