Sofia Mayor and GERB leader, Boyko Borisov, has stated that the EP elections in Bulgaria will be "sunk" by the BSP and DPS party machines.

Borisov suggested that theTurkish Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) and the ruling Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) had put people off from voting in general by using negative PR against his party.

He also added that the changes to Bulgarian election laws that have recently been passed were only bought in to benefit the ruling coalition.

Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) are campaigning across the country on Saturday on the day before Bulgaria votes in the European Parliament elections. Their top candidate Rumiana Jeleva will be in Kyustendil, while Party chairman, Tsvetan Tsvetanov, will be touring around the Ihtiman municipality with some of the party's candidates.
