Three spectators have been injured during the first lap of the car race held Sunday in the Black Sea capital, Varna.
The race is a round from the national championship.

The most seriously injured spectator is said to be in stable condition; the other one has suffered a broken leg, while a young man is reported to be in a state of shock.

The race is held on the "Vasil Levski" boulevard. The organizers have stopped the event temporarily, but the race will, most likely, continue later.

Boyan Getov is the driver that had caused the accident with a "Fiat Punto" automobile.

74 teams are participating in the race. The organizers said all cars have been thoroughly inspected the day before.
