Japan has invited two Bulgarian sumo wrestlers, Ivan Kachakov and Mihail Iliev, to attend the sumo school at Tokyo University.

Kachakov and Iliev will join Kaloyan Mahlyanov - Kotooshu and Daniel Ivanov - Aoyama, who are already making a name for themselves in Japan in the Professional Sumo League, Gong radio reported.

Kachakov is 20 years old and 185cm tall. He weighs 140 kilograms and is a two-time world and European youth champion. Kachakov and Iliev are in the Bulgarian team which will take part in the international sumo tournament at the National Sports Academy, starting on Friday.

Meanwhile, Kotooshu won his seventh victory at the prestigious summer sumo tournament in Tokyo. In the 11th round, the Bulgarian wrestler was victorious vs Sekiwake Baruto. Yokozuna Hakuho Sho continues to be the undoubted leader in the competition without a lost match.
