Bulgaria coach, Stanimir Stoilov, has announced the 17 overseas players for his squad to face Ireland in Sofia on June 6.
Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov was among the 17. Stoilov will add three home-based players to the squad next week for the match at the Vasil Levski national stadium, BGNES reported.
Bulgaria are third in the group with seven points from five matches. Italy top the standings with 14 points from six matches, followed by Ireland on 12. The three teams are still undefeated so far in the 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign.
