Bulgarian foreign trade decreased by 27,4% for the first three months of 2009 year-on-year.
Preliminary calculation by current prices show a total stock exchange of BGN 13,3 B for the January-March 2009 period.
For that time, goods for BGN 5,5 B ware exported, which was a 23,3% decrease year-on-year.
The import was down by 30% to BGN 7,8 B. The amount of imported goods is 43,3% higher than that of the exported, which follows the established trend.
Bulgaria's main export is for the EU - 64% of the total export amount. The Import form the European Community is 60% of the whole sum.
