Bulgaria: Toddler Shot in the Head, Fighting for Life at Pirogov Hospital
A devastating incident unfolded this afternoon near Vratsa, Bulgaria, where a one-and-a-half-year-old child was shot in the head under unknown circumstances
16-year-old, Emil Nikolov, was killed Friday night in Sofia's "Boyana" suburb.
Another young man, 29-year-old, Alexander Hristov, was wounded during the same incident.
The shooting happened around 11:30 pm in front of the popular restaurant "Boyansko Hanche". The victims were discovered in a grey BMW, with several bullets holes on it.
Nikolov was found dead on the front passenger seat while Hristov was taken to the Military Medical Academy and is listed in stable condition. His life is not in danger.
The Interior Ministry announced that both have criminal records. Nikolov - for auto theft and damaging of property while Hristov is known as a small scale drug dealer and is registered for robberies and racketeering.
The Police are conducting a second search of the crime scene Saturday morning. There are two versions regarding the incident - that the men shot each other over a money argument and that they were attacked by a third person, who used an automatic gun and fired through the car's right window.
