The Islamic countries have appealed to Turkey to veto the nomination of the Danish PM as NATO's Secretary General.

The news was announced by the Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, cited by the Bulgarian news agency, BGNES.

The new NATO Secretary General will be selected at the NATO summit in the beginning of April. The mandate of the current Secretary, Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, ends on July 31.

Erdogan stated that he held a phone conversation with the Danish Prime Minister, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, considered top contender for the NATO post, and has expressed the disappointment of his people regarding Rasmussen's reaction to the Mohammad caricatures that fired up the Arab world in 2006.

At the time, the Danish PM refused to officially apologize for the caricatures, triggering attacks on Danish embassies in several Muslim countries while some Western media launched campaigns for the protection of free speech.

"The Islam countries had very strong reaction to the caricatures and the Denmark's authorities' position. They now insist that we interfere with Rasmussen's appointment," Erdogan is quoted as saying.

Resi

"I know Moslems here and these are peaseful people, who just want to make a living in Germany and do not hate Christians."

A peaceful Muslim is an oxymoron. Such a thing does not exist. It is the women's fault why the men are so violent. Their mothers did not educate them right.

You should NOT condem ALL Moslems...I know Moslems here and these are peaseful people, who just want to make a living in Germany and do not hate Christians.

Yeah, I'll bet they do. Evil demons on the highway to Hell. Watch the film FITNA, the movie about Islam produced by Dutch politician Geert Wilders. UK video hosting company LiveLeak chose to pull the movie from their servers due to the death threats their employees were getting. Liveprayer had a copy, the only website in the world that had the movie in its entirety.

What Wilders did was excellent, in that he took the very words Muslims follow in their teachings, and showed them following those words as they carried out their acts of hatred and killing. These are not a few isolated acts of terror, but how Muslims worldwide operate. It is visual proof of what this false religion of hate and death is really all about, and that is why they are doing everything they can to hide it from the world. It has only been in the past few years with the advent of 24/7 cable news, advanced satellite technology, and the Internet, that people around the world, especially here in the United States, are being exposed to how this false religion has operated during its 1400 year history.

Let me give you a great contrast between the false religion of Islam and the Christian faith. People are born into or intimidated into joining the false religion of Islam. People CHOOSE to become a follower of Christ. Islam is about hate and death. Christianity is about love and life. People need to wake up and understand the nature of this very real threat to the entire world.
