Bulgarian sumo wrestler Kaloyan Mahlyanov, aka Kotooshu, won Saturday his fifth victory at the Spring Grand Sumo Tournament in Japan's Osaka.

Katooshu defeated sekiwake Baruto of Estonia, and moved to five wins and two losses. Mahlyanov used his favorite move "yorkiri", in which the attacker drives his opponent out backwards while maintaining a constant grip on his belt.

During the eight round on Sunday, Kotooshu will face maegashira Tokitenku, who has 2 wins and five losses, BGNES reported.

Grand champion yokozuna Asashoryu is bidding for his 24th Emperor's Cup while Mongolian yokozuna Hakuho is seeking his 10th. Asashoryu defeated Hakuho in an extra deciding bout at the New Year tournament after the pair finished 14-1.
