Former Bulgaria Customs Agent Commits Suicide in Downtown Sofia

A 42-year-old man has committed suicide on a parking lot in downtown Sofia, the Darik radio reported.

The man is identified as Boris Yordanov, a former Customs agent. Yordanov's body has been found at 11:45 am on a parking lot on the "Dragan Tsankov" boulevard, near the building of the Sofia Traffic Police. The man had a gun in his hand, thus the current version that he had committed suicide.

Police and forensic teams are currently at the location where the body was found. The Darik radio reports that the body is still there, laying near a parked Mercedes automobile with Sofia tags, but not registered to Yordanov.

According to Darik radio information, witnesses have stated that before the shooting Yordanov was seen talking to two men, who were taken by the Police to be interrogated.

Yordanov has died from a single shot in the head.
