An EU delegation is currently in Moscow hoping to discuss the gas crisis and the ongoing tension between Russia and Georgia, the BBC reported.

European Commission President, Jose Manuel Barroso, is being accompanied by nine EU commissioners. They are meeting senior Russian government leaders.

A commission spokesman stated that the meetings on Friday with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and members of his cabinet were a test - to see if the political relationship can move forward.

Last month, Mr Barroso told the European Parliament that the dispute between Ukraine and Russia over gas prices was "most unacceptable and incredible".

Hundreds of thousands of people went without heating in Eastern and South-Eastern Europe after Moscow stopped gas exports routed through Ukraine in January.
.
Bulgaria was one of the hardest hit countries and had to close factories, schools and other public buildings for over a week.

Excellent point made Kolegialen here!
Only one thing which is not that realistic is to split thoe countries - Ukraine in Georgia in small chunks.
But still, they proved to be puppets of a very low quality

Most intelligent Bulgarians understand that the gas crises were caused by American's urging (or misleading) Ukraine to play hard ball with Russia.
Georgia and Ukraine should be broken up into small chunks of separately ran territories and placed under Russian supervision, since they have proven serious lack of responsibility and inability to act like states, members of the international community.

US military should evacuate the Black Sea region, including Bulgaria.
They are not welcome there.
