A 29-year-old man killed his own two children and set his family's house on fire after a family row in the village of Osikovo in Southwest Bulgaria.

The incident took place around 9:30 pm Wednesday night. Mancho Panyukov picked his two boys aged five and eight from an Internet cafГ©, and murdered them with a knife in the street in front of shocked passers-by.

He then went to the house where he lived with his family, poured gasoline all over it, and set it on fire. Five persons were severely injured in the fire, the man's wife being in the worst condition. They have been transported to the Pirogov hospital in Sofia.

The murderer has escaped and is wanted by the police. He is believed to be armed and dangerous.

Relatives and friends of his have said he had been really desperate with his life recently, and that he had been having constant rows with his wife's parents in whose house the family lived, the Darik Radio reported.
