Рўhe second of the two notorious businessmen from the southwest town of Dupnitsa known as "The Galev Brothers", Angel Hristov will be left in jail, the Sofia City Court decided late Friday night.
The Court sitting was closed to the public because of the use of special intelligence devices and classified information in the case.

He will now be kept in jail on charges of establishing and leading an organized crime group, and racketeering the Dupnitsa businessman Plamen Manolov who was forced to pay to Hristov and Galev, aka the Galevi Brothers, a large sum of money every month, and was finally made to transfer the majority share of his firm cab firm to Vladimir Angelov, one of Galevi's close associates.
Hristov, Angelov, and a third accomplice, Apostol Chakalov were all arrested on January 20 during yet another Police raid in the Dupnitsa municipality.
Hristov's partner Plamen Galev has been under arrest since December 2008 on accusations of blackmailing a local reporter. The Sofia City Prosecutor stated that Galev would also be charged with organizing a crime group.
Plamen Galev and Angel Hristov aka the Galev Brothers became publicly known after it was leaked to the media that the former Interior Minister Rumen Petkov had met with them while they were under investigation for organized crime activities.
