Israeli officials reported that at least threeВ rockets fired from Lebanon have hit northern Israel a week after a similar rocket attack was carried out.
The missiles were reportedly fired from theВ area of Habaniyeh in southern Lebanon and landed in empty fields without causing damages or injuries.
Within minutes of the attack, Israel responded by firing eight rockets into the south of Lebanon,В a Lebanese official said, as cited by Al Jazeera.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility and Tel Aviv previously ruled out the involvement of Hezbollah in the incident, saying the rockets were of an outdated model that the group had not used for years.
Less than a week ago, a similar attack took place when a couple of rockets also fired from southern Lebanon hit Israel causing light damages.
